Without a doubt the most eclectic mix of automotive brands that we have seen in a small regional dealer group and Jon Mathers and the team at Unity know their cars. From the scintillating Subaru WRX STi to the very affordable and highly equipped SsangYong Tivoli they can provide all manner of vehicles to their customers in the Coventry, Leicester, Stratford upon Avon and Oxford areas from the six brands in their portfolio which are Subaru, SsangYong, Jeep, Alfa Romeo, Isuzu and Great Wall.

Our MD knows Jon well so it was no surprise when we were asked to provide some operational support to what is quite a complicated portfolio of six brands across four sites. Initially we were asked to look developing a sales process and deal control system that could flow across all four businesses so we set to work at developing an understanding of how each brand worked and then gathering the relevant data from each brand partner to put into our solution. The result was an immediate improvement in the customer experience, the visibility of transactions and also the additional product sales that were coming from using a common platform.

With our solution in place the Managing Director, Finance Director and Sales & Marketing Director now have real time access to the transactions going on at each site, something they have never been able to do in the past.

Our next project for Unity is to look at developing a common enquiry management structure across the businesses that can deliver a consistent customer approach and support more structured marketing activity. In addition we have been asked to provide them some mentoring support at a senior level and that starts very soon. This is one very exciting group and we’re very pleased to be a part of its ongoing development as an award winning business.
