Sp Sales Process Training & Implementation The Term 'Sales Process' has been much maligned over the last few years in the retail motor industry. Our Sales Process training focuses on the customer experience delivery whilst at the same time following a well-recognised and structured path to getting a deal done.

Terence Byrne and his team have been looking after the motoring needs of Skoda customers in Bedford since 2006 and the result of them doing such a great job has seen the group expand with three Skoda sites in Bedford, Northampton & Letchworth and also adding the Suzuki brand in Kettering & Milton Keynes. 

For this client we were asked to help them develop and implement a solution to one of the most common and inevitable problems of the rapid growth that comes with running such a successful business, a consistency in sales process across all sites.

Our specific task was to look at the manner in which they were structuring deals as well as how they were presenting them to the customers and then develop a common approach to ensure an excellent customer experience as well as class leading returns for the business. The project involved the implementation of a new process as well as training for the sales management teams across the five businesses and we’re pleased to say that the implementation of the new process went very well. Skoda’s Finance Retailer of the Year and their two Suzuki businesses are beginning to see a real improvement across their sites and a consistent approach to deal control which has resulted in our extremely valuable benchmarking data and reporting tools adding further value to the process.

It's been really enjoyable working with such a pro-active and enthusiastic management team at Progress and whilst this project has come to an end we look forward to the opportunity to working with them again in the future. It’s not difficult to see why, in 2015, they were named by the London Stock Exchange as one of the 1,000 Companies to Inspire Britain.
