Over the last couple of years there has been a rise in the number of companies offering “quick fix” sales events that drive high levels of footfall and therefore sales opportunity over (normally) one fixed weekend period. The popularity of these events reflects the fact that we too offer a bespoke design version of these to some of our clients, but ours have a difference.

Earlier this year we were approached by one of our associate partners asking if we could talk to one of their clients about what we do. They were considering using one of the market leaders for this type of event but had been taken aback by the proposed cost for their two Suzuki sites and were questioning if it could bring an acceptable return on investment but most importantly if the “style” of delivery would suit their locality and client profile.

 

We scheduled a conference call and agreed a bespoke project plan appropriate to their brand, location and client demographic and scoped a subtle delivery method via one of our trusted partner call centres. We put together a very careful script for the call centre to use that respected the type of customers we were calling on behalf of Tracks but also that provided enough incentive for them to make an appointment. The event was supported with point of sale materials that provided just enough of an “edge” to the two showrooms to demonstrate something different was going on and all design and sourcing was provided as part of the package. The net result? A very happy management team at Tracks and a significant number of new Suzuki’s sold over the weekend and following days.
